2021 Chess Calendar

I have finalized all material for the 2021 Chess Calendar – 365 chess positions taken from FIDE world championship matches in the period 1993-2005 when the title was split and there was both a FIDE and a classical world champion. In 2006, the title was unified with the infamous match Kramnik – Topalov.

White to move and win. Sergei Rublevsky – Kevin Spraggett, FIDE-Wch (Knock-out), Groningen (1.1) 1997.

Great from this period: So many strong GM’s participating in the big knock-out events, and thus a lot of material to choose from when selecting the 365 positions!

The 2021 Chess Calendar will be available in the late summer, well in time before January 1, 2021!
