Chess History Quiz, Question #1

Prior to the release of the calendar, I have made a chess history quiz based on the World Championship Matches: from 1834 (unofficial), over 1886 (start of the official) and until today. The material for the 2020 Chess Calendar is based on positions from World Championship matches.

Question 1: Louis De Labourdonnais and Alexander McDonnell played against each other for what is now regarded as the first unofficial world championship title. How many matches did they play in London 1834 (the last unfinished match included)? And who won?

The solution will follow tomorrow. To follow the quiz beyond tomorrow, with more questions over the next month, follow me on Instagram.
