Description: An online class with focus on finding the plan. All phases of the game will be covered, from the opening to the early middlegame and middlegame, and into the endgame. The material is centered around positions from games (famous and otherwise). We will describe the elements of the positions in some detail to figure out what’s going on, where the weaknesses/targets are, what the possible breakthroughs are, and what plans could follow from this. Positions with few to many pieces on the board will be included in the class.
